For Cooking Classes
Submitting your information does not guarantee a booking. A booking can only be guaranteed after payment has been received from you and if a seat is available.
All classes are non-refundable & cannot be redeemed for cash/store-credit.
Salt Meats Cheese reserves the right to cancel, alter or reschedule a class. Every effort is made to contact attendees in this event and the option to reschedule to another date available or full refunds provided. Salt Meats Cheese is not liable for any charges as a result of cancellation.
In the event a student needs to cancel a booked class, cancellation more than 7 days prior to the date of the class, the option to reschedule to another class is available (subject to availability within that class).
Cancellation of a class within 7 days of the scheduled class, the full amount of the class will be forfeited and no option to reschedule will be available. The class is transferable to another person and cancelling participants can send someone to take their place. For private booking/team building events final numbers and balance of invoice to be paid 7 days prior to event, after this date no refunds will be issued.
Salt Meats Cheese reserves the right to move the location of a scheduled class. this Salt Meats Cheese will make every effort to contact students to advise them of the new location.
Photographs or Video may be taken during the classes and used for marketing or promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be included in any photographs or filming please notify the photographer/videographer.
Students must wear closed shoes to all classes.
Students must inform staff of any dietary requirements by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org within 7 days of class date. We cannot accommodate dietary requirements in all cases.
Salt Meats Cheese reserves the right to refuse a student entry to class if instructors feel they may cause harm to themselves or others.
When participating in a class where by students will be using sharp/potentially dangerous tools the student releases, indemnifies and excludes Salt Meats Cheese from all liability of any kind for damage and/or injury incurred while attending/visiting Salt Meats Cheese.
If a student is late for a class, it is their responsibility to catch up with the rest of the class and minimise disruption.
Salt Meat Cheese will take all necessary care, but accepts no responsibility for the damage to or loss of merchandise left in the venue prior to, during or after a class/event.
The student or function organiser may be held financially responsible for any damage to or loss of Salt Meats Cheese property during the class/event. The cost of repairing any damage to the property as a result of inappropriate conduct will be charged to the person or hiring company.
Catering & Events
Any off site catering / grazing tables must be paid for in full to secure the booking.
Any changes to numbers for catering must be given in writing before 7 days of event date.
50% of the total fee will be forfeited in the case of cancellation within 2 weeks.
Cancellation within 6 days of event date, the full amount of the invoice will be forfeited and no option to reschedule will be available.
All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD). Prices listed on the website, do not include delivery charges. Delivery prices will be automatically calculated in the checkout process based on the delivery option you have chosen (SMC delivery, Australia Post). The dimensions, overall weight and number of items in your cart will determine your final total.
Your gift voucher may be used online to book into a cooking class or event or used for in store dining at our nominated venues. No change will be given for any remaining gift voucher value. Gift vouchers are not redeemable for cash.
No extensions will be given to extend the expiry date of the voucher, either before or once the voucher has expired.
Gift vouchers may only be used to make purchases up to the initial gift voucher value or the remaining gift voucher value. If you wish to make a purchase for an amount that exceeds the gift voucher value or the remaining gift voucher value, you must pay the excess using another payment method.
PayPal allows secure payment with your Paypal account or credit card. You will be redirected to Paypal to finalise your order. Once your order is completed, you will be automatically redirected to saltmeatscheese.com.au.
Please note, after you have placed an order, a receipt is automatically mailed to you confirming the purchase intent. This receipt does not consist ute a contract, and orders may be cancelled at any time due to insufficient stock, inability to authorise a credit card, suspicion of fraudulent activity, or any unforeseen reason or circumstance, as we see fit.
In the event, that one of the above has taken place, and your nominated credit card has been charged, your order will be subsequently cancelled and SALT MEATS CHEESE will issue a refund onto chosen payment method.
We reserve the right to limit quantities of items purchased by each customer. In addition, we reserve the right to cancel any order or part of an order, or refuse service to anyone for any reason.
SALT MEATS CHEESE is committed to respecting your privacy and the security of your personal information. Once you have a login, you will receive newsletters with the latest product information and promotions.
If you no longer wish to receive the newsletter, it will contain the necessary information to opt out. We do not disclose your personal information to any entities or individuals outside of SALT MEATS CHEESE.
Once an order is processed, we reserve the right to request from the customer an email of a scan or photo of a government-issued photo ID and the front and back of your credit card.
Please send an email to email@example.com with the required attachments. If we deem this satisfactory, your order will be processed.
Exchanges & Refunds
Details for exchange requests should be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org within 5 business days of receiving your order.
If you wish to send back whole or part of the order, please contact us at email@example.com to arrange.
We will review this on a case-by-case basis and we hold the right to refuse a return if we deem to be unsatisfactory.
If a product/s is damaged or defective in any way, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon you discover the fault.
We will repair the fault if possible. In the event that we are unable to repair it, we will replace the product.
If we are unable to replace the product or remedy the fault then we will refund you the money.
Please send a photograph of the fault, this will prevent any possible delays in the returns process. Upon receiving the defective product, we will then need to approve the claim.
You will be informed of the situation and a new product along with compensation return-shipping costs will be send to you.
Alternatively, if no other option is available to us, we will refund you the price of the product including any return/shipping costs.
